Meat Pen Rabbit Show 2024

1. Rabbit show entries are due Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the livestock pavilion from 8:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. (If an exhibitor misses the original tag-in date, they will have until Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. to contact show superintendent. Exhibitors will have an opportunity for late tag-in but will be charged an additional $25.) Exhibitors will be assigned an exhibitor number at registration so that their breeder may include the number in the TCF tattoo that is required for validation.
2. Rabbits will be validated (tattooed) on August 17, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the livestock pavilion. If an exhibitor’s breeder does not tattoo for that exhibitor, the superintendent must be notified before validation. An exhibitor can enter and validate as many pens as they would like. Exhibitors may show 2 pens of rabbits.
3. Meat pens shall be three fryers of either sex, 3 to 5.5 pounds, and no more than 12 weeks old.
4. DISQUALIFICATIONS: Rabbits will be disqualified for ear cankers, sore hocks, buck teeth, and any other obvious diseases. Any sick rabbit will be removed from fair grounds at discretion of fair committee.
5. Show will be Thursday, September 26th, 2024 immediately following weigh-in. Weighing of Rabbits will start at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th, 2024 . Rabbits not making weight or that are disqualified must be removed from grounds.
6. The top 80% up to 20 pens of will be sold in the premium auction, at minimum grand and reserve will sale.
7. The judge will set sale order.
8. Exhibitor must follow the Titus County Fair Junior Market Show general rules.
