2024 Titus County Fair Breeding Heifer Show Rules

Heifer Show Entry Form
    
1. All entries must be on an official Titus County Fair Heifer Show entry form and have a copy of the registration papers. 
  
2. Cattle eligible to be shown at the Titus County Fair Heifer Show must be of the same percent as cattle shown at the Texas Majors.
    
3. No heifer over 30 months of age.
    
4. Animals entered in this show must be registered in the records or their respective breed association (in the name of the exhibitor) on or before June 30, 2024. Official date recognized by the show will be the date the papers were entered in the record book of the association (ex: if the papers have purchase date, sale date and record date, all MUST be before June 30, 2024).
    
5. Heifers must be officially entered in the ‘Titus County Fair Heifer Show’ no later than September 1, 2024. $25.00 entry fee per heifer.  Entry fee and entry form must be delivered to the Titus County Fair Office by 4pm on September 1st.
     
6. Cattle will be shown by breed. Cattle will then be shown by division. Division champions will show for champion female. The reserve division champion will then become eligible for Reserve Champion female.
     
7. An award will be presented to the highest placing bred & owned female. 
   
8. Each individual exhibitor may enter as many heifers as they want. 
   
9. Any entry that becomes unruly or creates a disturbance in the show ring will immediately be excused at the discretion and instruction of the show superintendent and will not be eligible to compete.
    
10. All Show Heifers must arrive at the Fairgrounds before 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024. 
   
11. Exhibitors must present original registration papers and heifers for sift on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.  Heifers with incorrect registration papers, tattoos or other identification problems will be sifted. 
  
12. If a female is shown with a calf at side, the calf must be her natural calf, be registered and be no more than 205 days old. 
  
13. Night tie out will be done in designated area ONLY. Tie outs will be assigned by tag number. 
  
14. Exhibitor must follow the Titus County Fair Junior Market Show general rules.
